Robert Chodos

Bob Chodos has been managing editor of Inroads: The Canadian Journal of Opinion since 2002 and has worked as a writer, editor and translator since the 1970s, when he served as parliamentary correspondent for the alternative newsmagazine Last Post. He has been editor of Compass: A Jesuit Journal and the Canadian Forum and a member of the editorial board of This Magazine, Vox Feminarum and Voices Across Boundaries. His books include studies of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Canadian presence in the Caribbean, Quebec’s relationship with the United States, globalization and the impact of the internet, as well as biographies of former prime ministers Brian Mulroney and Paul Martin and the influential Canadian Jesuit Bill Ryan. He has served on the boards of directors of the Canadian Magazine Publishers Association (now Magazines Canada), the National Magazine Awards Foundation and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund. He lives in New Hamburg, Ontario.
