Marina Cabrera

Marina fled to Québec in 1999, following the assassination of her husband for political reasons, 8 months pregnant with three young children in tow. She managed to raise them well and, at the same time, obtain a master’s degree at the École nationale de l’administration publique. She founded Projet Ange and actively supports local organisations in Quebec City such as Mouvement Personnes d’Abord so that the most impoverished could enjoy the benefits of computers. Her dedication to the Institute stems from the strong conviction that the model of Responsible Government, based on the constitutional balance of powers, would restore and uphold the people’s moral integrity. She is presently completing a Master Degree program in Educational Technology at the University Laval.
